Flying Cloud - The Flying Cloud, a clipper ship, was the masterpiece of Donald Mckay. The Flying Cloud acquired a reputation for sailing faster than any other ship of her time. Flying Cloud met an unfortunate end when she ran aground in 1874, could not be rescued, and was burned to salvage metalwork.

Constitution is truly a national landmark. Launched in Boston on October 21, 1797, she first put to sea in 1798. The U.S.S. Constitution is the oldestcommissioned warship in the world today.

Pilar -The Pilar was the name given to Ernest Hemingway’s prized possession: his 38 foot playmate fishing boat. It was built by the Wheeler Shipyard in 1934. Hemingway did most of his fishing with Captain Gregorio Fuentes on the boat. Fuentes was used as the fictional caricature in Hemingway’s famous novel Old Man and the Sea. The boat now rests at Hemingway’s Finca Vigia estate in San Francisco de Paula, Cuba.
